Founded by award-winning filmmaker Darrell Lake, Darrell Lake Films creates eclectic content rooted in authentic and compelling storytelling with the aim of entertaining and delighting audiences while also stirring deep interpersonal connections and sparking wonder.
Darrell Lake is an award-winning writer, director, producer and actor. His work is influenced by his diverse background: growing up in Sierra Leone, Guinea, The Gambia, Ghana, London, and Eritrea. He created the Stage 13/WarnerMedia Digital Series, The Incredible Life of Darrell, which he also wrote, starred in, directed and executive produced.
Darell’s focus is on telling stories that show the multifaceted dimensions of humanity, and draw on his world spanning background to bring a fresh and unique perspective to how the human experience is shared on screen.
